I have been creating works with a sense of imperfection, things that are still in flux somehow. It was challenging at times to present them as established works of art. That is when the method of photography emerged as a way to somehow give form to and communicate these works.

I began to photograph the works in my studio. When I happened to place the photographs next to the "real pieces," I noticed that it gave the real piece a "real" feeling, as well as a sense of time oddly going back and forth there, almost like matrix. This realization led me to this installation.

My work is more concerned with the illusion of seeing, playing with and thinking about the perceptions with regard to existence and time, than it is with a specific subject matter itself. Although figurative, I am very conscious of abstract and conceptual aspect of operations of images - yet, through the language of half- broken figurative expression, I still attempt to engage the viewer emotionally. However, this emotion is not based on any narrative, but rather a simultaneous, multi- directional, chaotic emergence of mental images, that sometimes appears to be an anonymous, distant memory.
