Blog: On the employment of Drawing and Textile in my practice
My practice may be strongly influenced by the fact that I fundamentally started my journey as a (pure) artist from textile dyeing. I believe that a subtle connection and consistent strategy can be seen throughout my work with textiles and my other works. Considering fabrics in a broader sense, there may be a similar effect between drawing on a piece of sticky note or notebook and applying images on a textile. It may have the same function of drawing out the subtle emotions, perceptual activities, or memories that exist in our bodies, minds, and everyday spaces.
